Warranty Terms and Conditions

Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions Pty Ltd will provide a replacement product on and subject to these terms and conditions if within one year from the time of purchase this product becomes faulty or breaks so that it is unusable for its intended purpose, excluding normal wear and tear (“Warranty”). This Warranty does not apply unless the product has been registered on the following website: vileda.com/au/product-warranty. This Warranty does not cover the replaceable mop heads or pads. This Warranty covers normal domestic usage and does not apply if the product has been used otherwise (including any abnormal or commercial use) or stored under inappropriate conditions. Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions Pty Ltd may, in its absolute discretion, provide as the replacement product another product of comparable quality and features, intended for the same usage. This Warranty is provided to the original purchaser of the product only and is not transferrable.

How to claim
The claim must be made by the original purchaser within one year from the time of purchase, and after the product has been registered online (see above). The purchaser must return the product to Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions Pty Ltd at the Australian address set out below, at the purchaser’s expense, together with proof of purchase (eg. the purchase receipt or transaction record identifying the specific item purchased), and the purchaser’s name, Australian address and contact details. Upon acceptance of the claim, a replacement product will be sent to the Australian address provided by the purchaser.

Additional Rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

We respect the right of users to remain anonymous or to use pseudonyms but if we cannot collect your personal information, we may not be able to provide these services (including product warranties).  We disclose personal information to our related companies which provide us with (or assist us to provide) goods and services, as well as our service providers so that they can provide you with products or services on our behalf or help us to provide you with the requested products or services. When you provide us with your personal information, you give us your consent to store your personal information on servers located in Australia or by our related bodies corporate in Germany. We will endeavour not to knowingly disclose user identities unless directed by a court of law.  Our privacy policy (available at https://vileda.com/au/data-privacy) contains information about making a complaint and how we respond to complaints, as well as accessing or correcting the information we hold about you.
