What is a renewable resource and how does it help the environment?
A renewable resource is a natural resource that can be replenished by natural processes at a rate comparable or faster than
its rate of consumption by humans or other users. Resources such as trees and fresh water are generally considered to be
renewable resources as they can be continually reproduced as long as they are properly preserved.
A non-renewable resource is unable to be naturally replenished such as coal, oil and natural gas.
Renewable resources typically have less net greenhouse gas emissions across their life cycle compared to non-renewable resources, so are better for the environment.
* All of the products in the Vileda Naturals range are made from renewable resources.
